Hi All,
The end of term presentations are here! QIN and RHm&N classes have just finished theirs - you can see their great work in their class page.
Just a word of reminder. Need your group photos on the 1st power point slide. For those who are not present, they can do their presentation when term re-opens.
Cheers.

Learning from the best websites
For those of you who are doing websites, learn from the best. Who are the best?
These sites supposedly list the best. Check out who are those who consistently top the charts.
Singapore sites:
http://sgblogs.com/sites
http://sgblogawards.omy.sg/2011/category/
http://singaporesearchsite.com/2009/09/best-10-teen-blogs-in-singapore/
http://www.top10insingapore.com/top-10-singapore-blogs
For those of you who considering blogging as a part time/FT work, there's good news. Check out this site of the earnings of the top bloggers in the world. http://merabheja.com/top-10-blogger-earnings/
But like all impressive stories, for every one who succeeds, there is a long trail of anonymous multitudes who did not made it. So enter with your eyes open.

Website to check out
Came across this promising work done by QIN class. You can check it out at http://xahloan.blogspot.com/
As like all websites, remember its not only comprehensive data but a good processing and organizing of all the data uploaded. For that extra marks, look into organizing the layout of your data. Put in different tabs if needed to sort them out.
Good work and press on.

Useful Info for those doing a project on Bullying in Singapore
Some useful information to consider:
Good Sites on Bullying in Singapore:

As in all research, there are tonnes of raw info out there. The most important is to sieve out the raw data and summarise them into something that is useful for your project. Look at studies done as these present processed data - i.e. they have already done the work for you. Comment on them. Tell us what you feel about the results - do not copy wholesale. Quote the references always.

Hi All,
By now your team should have decided on a project title and submitted the project descriptions to this blog.
For this week you need to work on the following:
1. Scope of project (what's in, what's to be excluded)
2. Resources needed
3. Group roles
4. Milestone chart
5. Seek approval from me before start
I also need to see your INDIVIDUAL comments blogged in under either your own project/other classes' project. At least 3 per person.
Don't forget to do the paper submission too. For week 3, you should have done till page 3.
Happy working!

Key takeaway: Lessons from the life of Stone. A professional footballer turned coach. One who did not gave up when his world caved in, and turned the negative things in life around for the better. We have only one life to live. Don't waste it by mopping over your calamities.
