By now your team should have decided on a project title and submitted the project descriptions to this blog.
For this week you need to work on the following:
1. Scope of project (what's in, what's to be excluded)
2. Resources needed
3. Group roles
4. Milestone chart
5. Seek approval from me before start
I also need to see your INDIVIDUAL comments blogged in under either your own project/other classes' project. At least 3 per person.
Don't forget to do the paper submission too. For week 3, you should have done till page 3.

I was doing an project on how to alert others when the elderly fall.The project title is fall alert device.Quite a number of the elderly live alone,no help receive when they fall;or help is arrive late.They are live alone,far from caring family and old friends.Even if they do live with a spouse,that spouse is oftentimes too debilitated to help with a fall or medical emergency.Some of our Elderly who suffer with Alzheimer’s could not even make a telephone call in an emergency situation.When elderly went outside,no sure if they can call for help when something happen.The dangers face by elderly are:falls,memory fail,health problem,easily con and rob.
ReplyDeleteGood Project idea Kat! Agreed with you that the elderly really need help in this area. Hope your team can come out with a device to help them. Check out some of the websites that deal with elderly for help/more info, e.g. SAGE.
