MHA SAFE Project Titles from RZM

    1: Team aspect-community

    2: Area wanted to solve- Bring convenient to the elderly , when they are hanging thier clothes.

    3:Dangers faced- 1:At home, they may slip and fall, 2: Eat wrong medicine, 3: Feel alone, and fire happen , they does not know what to do. When they are on the road, 4: they might get hit by vehicles when crossing the road. 5: they might get lost on their way out. Whe they are out, robbery might happen, 6: when they are in the house, burgler might break in. 7: they might get rob when they are in a dark area. 8: Get rob in the lift.

    4: Areas wanted to tackle- Elderly's convenience.
    why?- Some elderly start to get weaken and as the laundry holder is high up and it is tiring when you want to dry or kewp your clothes. If for people who is not tall enough, they cun't reach for it , and maybe the stick will fall on them and coased injuries.

    5: Project title- Laundry Levitator.

    6:Project description- Laundry holder are manually done by us using a stick to take the clothes up and down. This makes the elderly to feel tired and may also pulled their muscle. In order to prevent that, we are intending to make if half automatically. We want to make a string-pull like how we pull up our curtain on our laundry holder. And also our holder once can pull down all 3 stick and can dry lots of clothes at one time. The one who will benefits will be the elderly.

    7: scope of project- we will be doing research on;
    The design and the structure.
    How to build the invention.
    Gather feedback from the elderly from HDB.
    How much will the material in making cost.
    Has anyone done or succeeded in making this project.
    Planning and finalise.

    8: resources needed- we estimate the cost of our entire project to be $55.

    The breakdown as follows;
    Hanger - $2.00
    Small motor - $30.00
    Bamboo Poles - $10.00
    Thick string - $5.00

    9: Learning outcomes from working this project-

    people will learn about to help and gain the benefit of easier workdone and less risk involve from our project.

    2: Area wanted to solve: Prevention of motorbike theft & vandalism when the owner are away.

    3:Dangers faced- 1: Broken mirror, 2: Punture tyre, 3: Scratches, 4: kick the bike down, 5: Expensive exhaust pipe are being stolen, 6: Cut throttle cable. 7: Cashcard are being stolen. 8: The whole motorbike are gone

    4: Areas wanted to tackle- Motorcyclist convenience.
    why?- Somtimes at carpark(HDB) does not have surveillance camera to keep watch of the motorbike when the owner is not there. So, there is why this project is important.

    5: Project title- Prevention of motorbike theft.

    6:Project description- To tackle on the problem of motorbike lost.Motorbikes are one of the vehicles that is to steal. So, my group & me are making a video regarding of prevention of motorbike theft. In this video, we will also be giving tips on how to prevent it from being stolen & interview some motorcyclist that their motorbikes have been vandalise & stolen before.

    1: What are the common ways of motorbikes are being stolen.
    2: What are the common ways of motorbikes are being vandalise.
    3: Tips on how to prevent it from being stolen.

    9: Learning outcomes from working this project-

    They will learn how to prevent their motorbikes from being stolen & vandalise. They will also gain the benefit of it.

    For the Motorbike theft project, check out MHA sites, general forum pages with Hardware zone or Singapore forums. Do show me your storyboard for comments too. You will need to submit your storyboard for grading.
