Please answer these 2 questions: 1) Did our neighbour, Malaysia, call to impose levy on Singapore-registered cars? 2) Do you agree to the call? Why? Enjoy.
1) Yes, Malaysia did impose levy on singapore cars. 2) No, i do not agree to the call. After all, we are neighbors and i don't find a need to impose a levy on singapore cars. Its not only singapore cars enter malaysia alone. Malaysia cars enter singapore too. So to make it fair, i think we should just drop the idea of imposing the levy. 1) Yes, our neighbour from Malaysia did call to impose levy on Singapore-registered cars. 2) I do not agree to a certain extent as the levy might hurt our neighbour more than to attract foreigners to boost their economic as most Singaporeans tend to drive across the causeway for their needs such as a quick getaway or even shopping. On the other hand, it might be necessary if the Singapore government wants to reduce the amount of Singaporeans going to Malaysia and helping to boost their economic, but not Singapore's very own.
