2)Yes,i don't understand why we have to pay tax for using Singapore cars in Malaysia. Our country did not want Malaysia registered cars to pay tax right?Afterall,it is not like we,Singaporean did not pay our food and clothing or do any illegal things at Malaysia to have to pay tax for our paid registered Singapore cars.

    2) when you enter to someone else country it is never free as nothing is ever free in this world. to me i find that i agree with this article? as when i go overseas you need to buy the plane ticket which is counted as a levy too.

    2) Yes, the governent need to maintain traffic control to reduce the amount of complains from Malaysians and SIngaporeans. However, if the government has no money, he has to discuss with the Malaysian governent for Agreement. By Zhong Han.

    2) Not entirely, as the move might actually shun off more Singaporeans to actually drive to Johor for their short getaway or maybe a simple shopping. On the other hand, it'll also help boost the Malaysian economy slightly as there are a lot of Singaporeans drive in to Malaysia daily.

    2) No, as paying money won't make a difference. Traffic will not be maintained. People will still go over there for shopping, visit relatives and etc. So why bother implementing this rule?

  11. 1.) Yes
2.) No, I don't agree to the call as Johor is already raking in alot of money from Singaporean firms. I think its unfair that they are considering the assemblyman's proposal to charge Singapore registered cars while we don't charge Malaysian registered cars coming inside Singapore.

"imposing a levy on Singapore-registered vehicles entering the state to generate additional revenue", "attracted more than RM6 billion from Singapore firms". Since they are getting many revenue from Singapore business why do they still need extra revenue from US and, if they went to impose levy why don’t impose it on every car entering the state instead as to be equal.

2)Yes however it depends whether it will really help the traffic. Some people may stop driving to Malaysia however there are still people that don't mind paying the taxes as they need to go there to see their relatives or going there for shopping. If they do want to put a levy on the Singapore Cars they should give rebate to those whom need to visit their relatives on a frequent basis as its unfair for them to have to pay the same taxes as to those who is going there just to have fun.

    2) Yes, as I don't think a lot of singaporeans will mind paying just 7 RM to enter Malaysia as they will be able to purchase a lot of stuff in Malaysia which are cheaper compared when buying in Singapore.
What I really hope is that they will really make use of the money they get from the levy and use it to maintain the security in their country.
